On Saturday the girls traveled to Bedford Valley Golf Course for the Bloomfield Hills Marion Invitational, which is the site of the Division 1 State Finals. This was a great opportunity for the girls to see a State Final layout, prior to arriving at the site later this fall. With most of Homecoming behind them, their concentration/focus seemed to be back on course,  as the girls performed nicely. Vienna Sereseroz lead the Lady Comets with a 86,  highlighted by a sparkling back nine 38 and again she showed why is is one of the better D1 players in the Lansing area. The remaining girls battled throughout the day and performed very well to help the Lady Comets ,to a 10th place finish. This event had the top D1 schools from across the state competing,  including the three time defending champion. This was a great day for the Lady Comets and with an idea of what type of courses they will play in the future. The girls are now poised to make a second half run at the conference leaders.
