YOUTH COED SOCCER

MINI COMETS (3 & 4 Year Olds)
Participants MUST be at least 3 years old by 4/17/2021 in order to participate in the Mini Comets League
Saturday’s ~ April 17 – May 22, 2021 (6 weeks)
Practices/Games will be held on Saturday’s at Hayes Middle School (12620 Nixon Rd., GL)
Game Times: TBD - Schedules will be in the coaches packet handed out at the coaches mtg.
The first 25 minutes will be instructional followed by a 25 minute game.
This league plays 5 v 5. Size 3 ball is used.
LITTLE COMETS (5 yr olds/Kindergarten) & (1st Grade)
Participants MUST be at least 5 years old by 4/17/2021 in order to participate in Little Comets League
Please Note: The 5 year olds/Kindergartens will be in a separate league from the 1st graders
Games are on Saturday’s ~ April 17 – May 22, 2021 (6 weeks)
Game Location: GLHS Community Turf Stadium.
Game Times: TBD - Schedules will be in the coaches packet handed out at the coaches mtg.
Practices start the week of 4/5/2021
Practice Locations: Hayes, Fitzgerald Park, Delta Center & Wacousta
One practice per week for 1 hr (day/time/location chosen by volunteer coach at the coaches meeting)
This league plays 7 v 7. Size 4 ball is used.
JUNIOR COMETS (2nd & 3rd Grade)
Games are on Saturday’s ~ April 17 – May 22, 2021 (6 weeks)
Game Location: GLHS Community Turf Stadium.
Game Times: TBD - Schedules will be in the coaches packet handed out at the coaches mtg.
Practices start the week of 4/5/2021
Practice Locations: Hayes, Fitzgerald Park, Delta Center & Wacousta

GOLDEN COMETS (4th & 5th Grade)
Games are on Saturday’s ~ April 17 – May 22, 2021 (6 weeks)
Game Location: Boughton Field (650 Green St., GL)
Game Times: TBD - Schedules will be in the coaches packet handed out at the coaches mtg.
Practices start the week of 4/5/2021
Practice Locations: Hayes Middle School
This league plays 7 v 7. Size 4 ball is used.
REGISTRATION FEE – $55 (Fee includes a team jersey)
$10 Late Fee after 3/4/21 (if space permits) – Late fees are Non-Refundable
REGISTRATION DEADLINE – Sunday, March 7 @ 11:59pm
Late registration will be accepted until 3/17/21 or until the league fills, whichever comes first. Please Note: starting 3/8 the process of teams being formed, coaches assigned and team jersey are ordered so the longer you wait to register after the deadline the less likely your child will be placed on their school team, or special request is honored, or their exact jersey size is available.
PRACTICES START – Week of April 5th
GAMES START – April 17th (Runs 6 weeks)
COACHES MEETING – Thursday, March 18th at the Sawdon Bldg Conference Rm.
Mini Comet & Junior Comet Coaches Mtg Time: 6:00-6:45pm
Little Comet & Golden Comet Coaches Mtg Time: 6:45-7:30pm
