Grand Ledge High School has partnered with S2 Pass as our new digital ticketing partner. If you do not already have the app, you will need to download S2 Pass from the App Store or Google Play (links below). Once you have downloaded the app, you may purchase your ticket(s), and it will be scanned upon entry from your smartphone. An instructional video is below. Please be sure to buy your ticket(s) before arrival. Please share this information with other students and fans! Grand Ledge Girls' Golf Opens Season with 2nd Place Finish at Perry Invitational

The Comet Girls' Golf Team finished in 2nd Place to open the 2024 season at the Larry Judson Scramble in Perry.Grand Ledge finished with a team score of 227, just four strokes back of the top spot.The scramble team of Isabel Kelly and Aubrie Parish paced the Comet attack with a score of 71 while Erin McGinnis and Eleni Parish teamed up for a round of 75. Kimberly Xiong and Meghan Zann rounded out the Grand Ledge scoring with a solid 81.Congratulations Grand Ledge Girls' Golf Team!

FALL TRYOUT INFORMATION
Girls Swimming:
No Cuts
Dates: August 12th-15th
Time: 8-10AM
Location: Grand Ledge Competition Pool @ Beagle Middle School
Other Details: Girls interested should wear a competition swimsuit, googles, and a swim cap, and bring a towel
Football:
No Cuts
Date: First day of practice is August 12th
Time: 3:15-8PM
Location: Meet at the high school weight room, practice will conclude at the Track Complex.
Other Details: Players should meet at 3:15 at the high school weight room wearing shorts, practice jersey and tennis shoes. They should bring a water bottle, snack, helmet and mouth guard.
Boys Cross Country:
No Cuts
Date: August 12th M-F
Time: 8:00-9:30 AM
Location: Meet at the teacher's parking lot at the end of Kent St.

Cheer for the Grand Ledge Boys' Cross Country team as they run through downtown Grand Ledge TODAY, JULY 19th around 5:00pm, in the middle of their 2 day Shore to Shore relay! GLPS Health Center Offers Sports Physicals for the 2024-25 School Year!

Any student wishing to participate during the 2024-25 school year in any athletic program grades 7-12 must have a current Athletic Physical on file in the athletic office. A physical is considered current if it is dated on or after April 15, 2024.
Grand Ledge High School now has a Health Clinic located at the building and students can get an athletic physical completed there! If a student has not had their annual well-child visit (physical), then a sports physical form will be filled out as part of that well-child visit – which would be covered by insurance. Otherwise, there is a $25 charge for a sports physical. Because it is a school based clinic, things work a little differently - kids can come and be seen without a parent present if they have the proper parental consent forms completed. Comets Capture First Softball Classic Title since 2005 with 7-1 win over Leslie

The Grand Ledge Varisty Softball team brought home the Greater Lansing Softball Classic Championship with a convincing 7-1 victory against Leslie at Ranney Park in Lansing.
The Comets defeated Williamston and Fowlerville earlier in the week to advance to the title game. Grand Ledge already had wrapped up the CAAC Blue Championship and now improves to 25-8 heading into MHSAA Tournament play Tuesday at Lansing Eastern. District semifnals and finals are set for Friday, May 31st.

The Grand Ledge Varsity Girls' Soccer team was named a #3 Seed overall our of 21 CAAC schools vying for placement in the CAAC Cup - putting the Comets in the Gold Division.
The Comets will travel to #2 seed DeWitt on Tuesday, May 14 with the winner advancing to the CAAC Gold Cup Championship game on Thursday, May 16.

Grand Ledge Varsity Softball Claims CAAC Blue Crown with 9-1 League Record

The Grand Ledge Varsity Softball Team captured the outright CAAC Blue Championship with a double header sweep of Dewitt at HOME on Monday, May 6th.
The Comets cruised to 10-0 and 9-0 wins over the Panthers to secure the title. With the wins Grand Ledge improves to 18-6 on the season heading into a double-header at HOME on Friday, May 10th.
Grand Ledge has also secured an invitation to play in the Greater Lansing Softball Classic. The Comets will battle Williamston on May 21st at Ranney Park in Lansing - the second game of the night after Waverly tangles with Waverly.

Grand Ledge Boys' Lacrosse Finish CAAC Schedule Undefeated for 2nd Straight League Title

The Grand Ledge varsity boys' lacrosse team made it two straight CAAC Championships with a title clinching victory over Holt to cap a perfect league slate.
The Comets streaked to a 6-0 first place finish outscoring their league foes by a combined 122-24, capped off with a convincing 22-4 win over Holt on Senior Night at home in the Stadium.
Grand Ledge is currently 13-1 overall and a #1 Seed in the MHSAA Regional Tournament which will be held at GLHS.
Congratulations to coach Mike Transeth and the entire Comet team on the league championship! Grand Ledge is HOME on Thursday, May 9th against Forest Hills Northern. The JV will start at 5:30 with varsity to follow at the Stadium. The Comets are home at the track complex on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. tilt with East Grand Rapids with JV starting at Noon.
