Strength, Speed & Agility
Incoming 7th & 8th Graders
(2021/2022 School Year)
This program will teach the fundamentals of strength, speed and agility training to incoming 7th and 8th graders of all sports. Participants will learn and practice proper techniques with regard to running, changing direction, lifting weights and acceleration to help them to improve in all sports.
The course instructor will be the GLHS Varsity Football Coach Joe Brya, who has a Master's degree in Sports Science.
June 28 - July 29
(No Sessions July 5-8)
Monday - Thursday
(4 days a week)
11:00am - 12:00pm
Grand Ledge High School Turf Stadium
(Location will be moved to HS gym when weather is bad)
Fee: $25 (for all 16 session)
Registration will be open during the 5 week duration of this program, however the fee will not be pro-rated if you choose to register late into the program.
It's helpful for planning purposes if you register early, even if you can't make all the sessions.
