Grand Ledge Community Schools On-line Sports Registration
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO REGISTERING
We utilize an online registration system which handles both the payment and registration. If payment is not made at the time, your child will not be registered, or added to any roster. Coaches will not allow your child to participate without having their name from our office on their roster.
If your child should qualify for free/reduced lunch, you must call Terrie Westman at Grand Ledge Athletics @ 925-5930, to make an appointment to complete the waiver fee authorization form (available on our website). The State Law now requires that we obtain your permission to have access to this information. Terrie will be able to create your account once you have provided that document and given her the needed information.
Please also contact the athletic office if you need to make payment arrangements if you cannot afford to pay the balance in full at the time of registration.
Helpful information to be aware of for first time users of Rec 1.
- When first creating the account please be aware the system is asking for the parent info not the student.
- The parent then adds each child as an account member. Remember to select a grade they will be in this school year, at that time for your child, as you will not be allowed to continue without. (This is easy to miss)
- Rec 1 will save your child’s info and roll them ahead to the next grade automatically without your having to make changes. You can at any time add new family members to your account, pay for multiple children / multiple sports with a debit or credit card.
In addition to completing the online registration, an athletic physical must be completed and turned in to the athletic office prior to the first practice/ or first day of tryouts. If your child does not have a valid one on file they will not be able to participate. No exceptions can be made as it is an MHSAA regulation. Please turn these in at the Athletic Office at the High School (by the pool entrance). Office hours are 7:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. daily. Feel free to leave in the drop box outside the office , if you arrive after office hours or if no one is there to assist.
