Brighton Invitational 08-27
This event is a measuring stick to see how the Lady Comets match up with a couple of perennial powers at the DI level. The girls returned to the site of last season Regional Championships and wanted another crack at this fine golf course, to show that last season was no fluke. They played solid golf in route to their 9th place finish and got a good look at two of the more talented groups in DI this season. Although the Lady Comets are not a treat this season to compete at the state level, they showed that they are ready to challenge any of the teams in our region and with a little luck could very well qualify for the state tournament. Solid rounds by Zoe Reimer, Vienne Sereseroz and Samantha Bennett help the squad finish nicely with respect to our regional competition.
