Fresh off a disappointing showing in the first Conference Jamboree, the girls wanted to make a statement showing that this round Holt was an oddity, as oppose to the norm. However, the girls did not get off to the start they had hoped for and the slow start on the front nine made it difficult for them to show how good they really are. However, if their performance on the back nine is any indication of the rest of the season , the girls will finish as predicted and have a fine 2018 campaign. In the end the girls played solidly. Newcomer, Emily Winkler showed that she may be a force as the season continues , shooting her career low 97 at the Varsity level, helping the Lady Comets to a 4th place finish.
