MIDDLE SCHOOL
STRENGTH TRAINING
Middle School Strength Training is a comprehensive program to instruct 7th and 8th grade students on the safety and proper techniques associated with weight lifting along with speed and agility training. Student-Athletes will be instructed on basic lifts in the weight room and ways to improve speed and quickness. The emphasis for this course will be on proper technique and body mechanics and not necessarily building muscle mass.
This program is open to boys and girls of all sports. The purpose will be to equip youth athletes with the knowledge and techniques to help them be successful as high school athletes in whatever sport they choose.
