WINTER TRYOUT INFORMATION

All Students must have a current physical on file to tryout. A physical is considered current if it is dated on or after April 15, 2024

Gymnastics

No Cuts

Date: October 28th 

Time: 4:30-6:30

Location: Old Weight Room (New Gymnastics Room)

Details: Bring leotard, water bottle, grips and anything else you use to practice 

Wrestling

Date: No Tryouts- November 11th

Time: 3:05-5:15 PM

Location: High School Wrestling Room

Details: October 30th Wrestler Meeting at 3:05 in the wrestling room.

October 30th Parent Meeting at 6 in the media center

Boys Basketball

Dates & Time:

November 11th, 12th, and 13th

Freshman 7-9

JV 3-5 

Varsity 5-7

Location: High School Main Gym

Details: CurrentPhysicals must be on file to participate in tryouts. Students may bring them the first day of tryouts, but will not be able to tryout without it. Gym shorts, white tee shirt, and gym shoes required.

Competitive Cheer 

Dates: November 13th & 14th 

Times: 5-7 PM

Location: Sawdon Gym

Boys & Girls Bowling

Date: No Cuts-  First Practice is November 14th

Time: 3:30-5:00 PM

Location: Royal Scot Bowling Alley

Details: No prior bowling experience needed. Balls and shoes will be provided. Any student wishing to participate must have a current MHSAA physical on file in the Athletic Office. Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-5. 

Girls Basketball

Dates & Times: 

November 18th-22nd    

Freshman & Sophomores 7-9

Juniors & Seniors 5-7 

Location: High School Main Gym

                                            Details: You must have a current physical on file to tryout.

Hockey

Date and Time: 

Monday October 28th @4:00PM

Location: Biggby Ice Cube East Lansing

Details: Any student wishing to tryout must have a current MHSAA physical on file in the athletic office.
