The Grand Ledge Varsity Girls' Golf Team advanced to the MHSAA State Finals after placing 2nd overall at the Division I Regional at C'urrie West Golf Club in Midland.

Junior Isabel Kelly continued her incredible season pacing the Comet attack with a 78, good for second place overall at the meet. Junior Aubrie Parish carded a 92 while senior Kelbi Roman finished with a 96. Junior Tessa McClung and sophomore Erin McGinnis rounded out the scoring with rounds of 100 and 101 respectively.

The Comet team score was 366 overall, two better than Grand Blanc and 12 off the pace of regional champion Okemos.

Grand Ledge now turns its attention to the MHSAA Division I Championship Meet on October 20th. The two-day event will be played at Michigan State University at Forest Akers West.
