The Grand Ledge varsity girls' cross country team placed 6th on Friday at the MHSAA Division I Regional held at Shepherd High School.

Taylor Pangburn continued her amazing season for the Comets, placing second overall with a personal best time of 18:23. Freshman Avi Skinner just missed qualifying for the MHSAA finals by only one second and placed 16th overall with a personal best time of 19:13.

"The Comets were fantastic today in one of the best regional sin the state," head coach Fred Hutchinson said. "I'm very proud of them."

Taylor advances to the MHSAA Finals on Saturday, November 5th at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn!
