Five sophomores led the way for Grand Ledge at the Greater Lansing Cross Country Championships as the Comets finished 9th in 30 team field.

Aviana Skinner finished 10th with a time of 19:40 to lead the Comets while Lydia Jagger was just behind her in 17th place with a time of 20:07. Madison Aten claimed 36th place (20:51) while Elsa Gomez (22:36) was in 90th place (22:36). Amelia Cornell placed 104th out of 219 runners with a time of 23.06.

Grand Lege is back in action this Thursday at the CAAC Blue Championships at Ledge Meadows.
