    Joe Ford is entering his 3rd season of coaching the Capital City
Capitals and his 16th season of coaching high school hockey in the
Lansing area. Ford has coached the Mason and Lansing Catholic high
school cooperative programs from 2005-2018. Prior to starting the
Mason-Eaton-Rapids-Charlotte Varsity hockey program in 2005, Ford was
on the coaching staff at Michigan State University serving as the
Director of Hockey Operations. Ford served in that role as a student
video breakdown manager and then full time staff member from
1995-2003. Ford also currently coaches in the Lansing Spartans Hockey
Club, works as an coach and evaluator in the USA Hockey MAHA Selection
camps, Team Michigan's High School Program and also is a part time
instructor at Lake Superior State University's Laker Hockey Camps. He
and his wife Cortney, a teacher at Mason High School, reside in Mason
with their two children Meghan (17) and Grant (14)
