Boys Girls Varsity Bowling

This year is coach Elyce Babcock’s first year as the Head Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling Coach. Coach Babcock was an assistant coach in the 2022-2023 season. While she is new to the MHSAA program, she has been coaching youth bowling for 12 years. 

Coach Babcock is a Grand Ledge High School alum, graduating in 2001, and a lifelong bowler in the Greater Lansing area. She participated on the Grand Ledge High School bowling team, at the conference and club levels. She was the #2 bowler on the team her sophomore year; that team competed and won the High School State Finals in 1999. In her senior year, she competed in the singles portion of State Finals, placing 5th. Coach Babcock was the recipient of the Michigan Women’s Bowling Association Star of Tomorrow in 2001. 

Following her high school bowling career, she competed in league, local, state and national tournaments. Coach Babcock continues to bowl in weekly league and participates in various tournaments. Most recently, her team placed first in the 2023 Lansing City Tournament.
