Boys Varsity Tennis
This will be Mark Vandlen’s first year as the head coach for the boys varsity tennis team. Coach Vandlen first began coaching tennis with the Comets middle school program in 2019. In addition to coaching the middle school team, Coach Vandlen has served as an assistant coach the past three seasons for the boys varsity team as well as an assistant coach for the girls varsity team this past year.
Coach Vandlen is a graduate from Holt High School where he played on the boys varsity team. Coach Vandlen then graduated from Cornerstone University playing both singles and doubles all four years on the men’s varsity team.
Coach Vandlen works for Auto-Owners Insurance Company as an actuary. He and his wife Jenny live in Dimondale with their three children, Noah, Ava, and Sawyer.
