The Grand Ledge Varsity Boys Tennis team travelled to Flushing this past Saturday and won first place over Flushing, Saginaw Heritage , and Traverse City West. T'he Comets followed up up their weekend championship with convincing wins over Eaton Rapids (7-1) and conference rival Holt (7-1). Currently the varsity record is 12-2-1, finishing the regular season in 3rd place with a 3-2 record in the CAAC Blue. Grand Ledge will host the conference tournament on October 1st to determine final standings. The team is buzzing with excitement to say the least! There are two more regular season matches, both at home. Lansing Christian on 9/29 and Williamston on 10/6. Our regional tournament will be 10/9 in Brighton.
