Congratulations to Comet Senior Logan Tollison. The Comet senior capped his incredible wrestling career with his second straight state championship art the MHSAA state finals on March 7th at Ford Field. Logan cruised to an 8-0 victory in the title match, capping a dominating 4-match performance 285 pounds to end his season perfect at 55-0. Logan also finished with an undefeated victory as a junior and has committed to wrestle next year at Michigan State University. Tollison capped off an unbeaten senior season, claiming his second-straight Finals title, winning at 285 a year ago after finishing as runner-up at 215 the year before. On Saturday, he opened up a scoreless match by getting an escape and a takedown in the second period, adding another takedown in the third for the major decision. Logan finishes his Comet Career as one of the very best to ever take the mat for Grand Ledge. Great job Logan!
