Comets Name Ben Adamson as New Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach

Grand Ledge Athletics has named Ben Adamson as the new Head Coach for Comet Varsity Boys Soccer. Coach Adamson is a former assistant coach at Aquinas College brings a wealth of experience to the position as both a coach and a player. Coach Adamson was raised in England where he learned his love of soccer before traveling to the United States to play collegiately at Saginaw Valley State University. While at SVSU he was named Third Team All-American and was two-time All-Midwest Region First Team and twice was named to the GLIAC's All-Conference First Team. Adamson led the Cardinals to consecutive undefeated GLIAC championship seasons and started all 59 games of his collegiate career. Coach Adamson played professionally with Lionsbridge FC, Flint City Bucks and Midwest United. Coach Adamson currently resides in Grand Lege. The new Comet Head Coach will have an information meeting after school on Monday, March 2nd in the High School Main Gym. All current high school freshman, sophomore and juniors planning to tryout for soccer next fall should plan to attend.
