The Grand Ledge JV girls basketball team came up short in a hard-fought matchup against DeWitt, falling 47–55. After a slow start in the first quarter, the Comets battled back with energy and determination, tightening up defensively and finding their rhythm on offense. Sophomore Faith Lovell led the way for Grand Ledge, putting up an impressive 16 points and sparking the team’s second-half push. Despite the strong effort, the late surge wasn’t enough to overcome DeWitt’s early lead. The Lady Comets showed resilience from start to finish and will look to build on this performance as they prepare for their next matchup.
