Grnad Ledge has been invited once again to participate in the 63rd Dean Shippey Capital Diaond Classic. All Games will be played at McLane Stadium on the campus of Michigan State University. Grand Ledge joins Charlotte, Holt, Dewitt, Okemos, Mason, Portland,Williamston and Portland St. Patricks in the tournament field. Grand Ledge will play onTuesday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. against Portland St. Patrick. Spring Tryout InformationAnyone planning to tryout/participate must have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office. A physical is considered current if itis dated on or after April 15, 2024 Boys Lacrosse:Date: March 10th Time: 7-9 PMLocation: HS Stadium Turf field Anything they should bring: Team Meeting at 6:30. Logan Tollison Makes it an Undefeated Season with Division I State Title at 285 Pounds

Congratulations to Logan Tollison! The Comet juinor wrestler finished the 2024-25 season with an undefeated record, including a perfect 4-0 en route to the MHSAA Individual State Championship!Logan entered the state finals at Ford Field with a perfect record and a number one ranking at 285 pounds and he backed it up with a dominating performance on the mat.After winning by pin to open his tournament he advanced to the semifinals with a 11-3 victory. In the final four Logan dispatched his semifinal opponent 8-0 before scoring an impressive 8-1 win to claim the state title.The state title adds to the District and Regional individual championships he already earned this season. Logan ended his junior season with a perfect 46-0 record while extending his careerr mark to an incredible 131-13.Great job Logan and congratulations on a dominant junior season! >

Grand Ledge junior Eben Abdo capped off an impressive junior season with a 4th place finish at the MHSAA Finals, finishing the championship tournament with a 3-2 overall record. Abdo started the tournament with a 2-0 record and clinched his top four placement with a dominant win by techinical fall.Eben ends his successful season with All-State honors in Division I to go along with a 34-7 overall record.Congratulations to Eben Abdo on a great junior season! >

Sophomore Ashton Delaney Places 4th at MHSAA Wrestling State Finals

Grand Ledge sophomore Ashton Delaney had a great weekend at the MHSAA finals at Ford Field, earning a 4th place finish with a 3-2 record at 175 pounds.Delaney began the tournament with two straight wins before a close 4-2 loss against the eventual state champion. Ashton then scored another victory to earn a spot in the 4th place match, dropping a tough 4-3 decison to end the tournament. Ashton ended his sophomore season with a 51-5 record overall. Congratulations on a great season!

Timmy Hubert Places 7th at Division I MHSAA State Wrestling Finals

Grand Ledge sophomore Timmy Hubert traveled to Ford Field in Detorit for the MHSAA Wrestling State Finals and came home with a 7th place overall finish.Timmy finished 3-2 at the touranment, good to secure all-state honors and a 7th place finish at 150 pounds. Timmy ends the season with an impressive 46-16. Congratulations on an incredible sophomore season on the mat!

Middle School Swim Teams Compete at League Championship Meet - Boys place 1st; Girls 6th

The Grand Ledge Middle School Swim and Dive Team coached by Marcie Flood, Abby Rice and Brendan Marsh competed in the Capital Area Middle School League Championship. Our girls team took 6th place out of 15 teams and our boys brought home the league meet championship trophy (for the THIRD year in a row!) beating the second place team by 99 points!  Congratulations to all our members of the Middle School Swim and Dive Team.  Great job this season.  Proud to be a comet!

Avi Skinner Runs 4th Fastest Cross Country Time in School History at MHSAA Finals

Grand Ledge junior Avi Skinner had an incredible day at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Finals, posting the 4th fastest time in school history with a 18:14.2. Her time was good for 26th place overall in the Division I meet making earning MHSAA All-State honors!  Avi posted the 2nd all-time fastest performance at the MHSAA Cross Country state finals in Grand Ledge Cross Country history!  On the boys side of things, 11th grader Ben Rottier finished his 5k in 16:03.6 at 52nd place out of a field of 249 runners, while Rylen Richey finished in 16:35.3 at 138th place! These are outstanding performances for both of these gentleman in a remarkably competitive Division 1 race.  Congratulations to Avi, Ben and Rylen!
