The Holt Invitational was held Thursday September 6th and the Lady Comets were poised to make a better showing than our last visit to Holt.

The Comets did a fine job shooting a season low 361 (18 stokes better than the season opening CAAC Jamboree held a couple of weeks ago) the Comets were lead once again by Vienne Sereseroz shooting a fine 84, once again showing she is one of the top golfer in the Lansing area, then came Zoe Reimer shooting a fine 87, avenging a below average showing in the opener), next was Samantha Bennett shooting a career best 94 and rounding out our top four was Marissa Vandermoere shooting a very nice 96.

The competition is a little stronger at the invitational as teams come from as far as Ann Arbor or North Muskegon and even Big Rapids to compete in this event and the Lady Comets did a great job finishing 6th out of 12 teams and only 3 total shots out of 3rd place, WELL DONE!!!

The Comets are back in action on Tuesday for a CAAC match at East Lansing.
