Chad Little is entering his second year at Grand Ledge High School as the Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis Coach. He has seven years of coaching at the high school level. His background includes the following sports: Tennis, Soccer and Swim. Currently, he teaches marketing at the high school. He began playing tennis with friends and family. Moving to Atlanta, GA opened up opportunities to play at a competitive level. During his second year of youth tennis, he was ranked in the top 200 players in Georgia. He has competed in both singles and doubles at the following levels: Varsity Tennis, USTA juniors & adult and leagues. As a coach, he has worked with the following programs: Charlotte, East Lansing and Ionia High Schools. His philosophy on coaching is a holistic approach, which includes both athletics and academics. He is a teaching coach, who meets each player where they are. He focuses on coaching and leading players to have the most complete game possible. His goals are to look for growth opportunities to develop and improve the program. Playing tennis throughout his life, he has enjoyed the tennis community, competition and teamwork. He is excited about the opportunity to share his passion for tennis. Guiding principles include: building rapport, developing skills, teaching techniques, strategies, setting goals and problem solving.
